Construction is clinker plated in steel on 2” x 2” ordinary angle single riveted frames spaced 14”. Shell seames are single clinker riveted and the butts flush riveted. The Steel Deck is laid on similar scantlink beams fitted at each frame space.

The original survey for the present owner showed minimal wastage of hull thickness from new. A recent subsequent survey for insurance purposes showed no changes to this.
At the time of both the original and subsequent surveys, the opportunity was taken to apply one coat of barrier primer and three coats of tar to the hull.

This lovely Dutch Barge has been maintained to an excellent standard, both cosmetically and mechanically by her current owner who is a qualified Marine Engineer.
Currently located on the River Stour, Kent, in the South East of England the vessel has been fully converted to provide all the mod-cons and spacious living accommodation and is ideal either as a holiday home, a full-time home or easily converted to a restaurant.
