The 70.3m Lürssen superyacht Saint Nicolas has arrived at the Abeking & Rasmussen Services shipyard in Lemwerder, Germany, undergoing an eight-month refit.

The yacht, which was built in 2007 and underwent a mechanical overhaul in 2017, has six decks and exterior lines by designer Espen Ønio. It can accommodate 12 guests in six rooms and has a crew of 21.

The vessel is now at Abeking & Rasmussen (A&R) Services for an extensive refurbishment of the exterior and interior, including a significant extension on the swimming platform and a new gym and spa on the sundeck. The Monaco-based superyacht management firm Arrow Yachts is managing the project.

Pascoli International is overseeing the exterior enhancements, ensuring that the vessel’s sleek lines and elegant profile are maintained while integrating modern elements. Interior works will be handled by American firm Patrick Knowles Design.

The swim platform extension has been designed by the American naval architecture firm Murray & Associates.

“This refit project represents a significant milestone for A&R Services,” said Daniel Reichwald, managing director of A&R Services. “We are honoured to have been chosen as the preferred partner for revitalising this iconic motoryacht. Our team is committed to delivering an exceptional job and exceeding the owner’s expectations.”

The refit project is expected to take eight months to complete, during which A&R Services says it will provide comprehensive support and services to ensure a seamless and efficient process from start to finish.
