Broker's Comments

The Achilles 24 must be one of the sweetest little cruiser-racers of all time. Although a fast pocket cruiser she has aquitted herself well in offshore races and has even been trans-atlantic. Not roomy on the accomodation front when compared to some more recent 'floating caravans' she rewards the keen sailor with impeccable handling and a good turn of speed. She has berths for four, but two would be more realistic for cruising.
This example benefits from a triple keel and so can take the ground on drying moorings. She is well made (as all Chris Butler's boats were) and very well presented.
