Broker's Comments

A new premium berthing area is being installed at Ocean Village Marina a 10 minute walk from Gibraltar Airport. If you want to guarantee a berth here you need to pay a full year's berthing in advance. The annual price, including the 20% discount for upfront payment, is £5268 for a 12m berth.

Access to the berths will be via magnetic cards and every berth will have metered water (1p/litre) and electricity (15p/kWh). As the Spanish authorities tighten their tax rules for foreign boats, especially those without VAT-paid status and those with owners deemed to be resident in Spain, the advantage of Gibraltar berthing increases.

Don't wait. Berths in Gibraltar are like gold dust!
