Broker's Comments

POPPY is a beautiful, unique modern wooden classic. Designed & built by Fabian Bush and tailored to the owner’s personal requirements - he requested a boat to be built with good performance characteristics & traditional appeal and Fabian didn’t disappoint.

She has lovely lines based on the Victorian sailing canoes of years gone by, with a charming teak / mahogany finish & spruce spars. Modern build methods have been used, incorporating up to date robust & lasting materials, which in turn makes her a light but strong & durable vessel.

Built primarily for estuary and coastal sailing. Poppy is a large but easily managed, half decked dayboat / cruiser / camper that meets Category C of the Recreational Craft Directive.

Her large cockpit and removable cuddy / cover fulfills her dual role of daysailer & camper cruiser and she is equally happy with four or more adults onboard or managed single-handed. There’s plenty of built-in buoyancy and an easily used or stored away outboard too. This tells it’s own story; it’s hardly ever been used....

All in all, this trailer sailer packs a punch and with classic style. If quality workmanship, beauty and practicality are important to you, then this vessel isn't one to be missed.
