Broker's Comments
Herbert Woods 31ft Classic Broads style sailing yacht originally known as "Perfect Lady no 2" from the Herbert Woods fleet.
She has an electric winch to raise and lower the mast, the red sails are all in very good order and the cockpit and companionway bulkhead were upgraded in 2004. A plaque in her saloon shows her to have won many races on the Broads rivers. She has been professionally maintained throughout her life to a very high standard although she has spent the past 3 years out of the water under a canvass cover. because of this the hull side timbers have dried and there a small gaps. The hull and keel are sound.
It would take a little tlc to bring this classic craft back to her impressive old self but nothing more.
On offer at a realistic price she is an awfully lot of classic boat with a proven racing pedigree.
