Broker's Comments

Yard built in South Africa by OL Silvestre, this pristine 42’ Cutter Ketch has a proven blue water pedigree and has been sailed from Africa to the USA and down through the islands to Venezuela. Robustly constructed, the Spray 42 was designed to meet the challenges of heavy seas and has been fitted with extra high pulpits and lifelines with 8” bulwarks all round for safety. The boat is perfectly equipped as a live aboard with water maker, solar panels and wind generator and has a work room for on-going repairs and parts storage . The bright sides were redone in 2008 and the both the interior and exterior varnish work are impeccable throughout, especially the Brazilian mahogany cabin flooring, which is representative of the time and effort spent in keeping this yacht in immaculate condition . A survey dated August 2007 is available for inspection.
