This Buchanan 32 is a lovely vessel and built and finished to a very high specification. She has been much loved over the years. The hull was originally constructed in 1987 and bought by the current owner who completed the build of this boat in 2000. This is a sea-kindly yacht by a very successful designer. Beamy, good freeboard and excellent displacement make her a well mannered, yacht and easy to cruise.
This boat has cruised around Britain twice, sailed to France twice and sailed once to the Baltic.
The hull is made of Iroko with a 2.5 ton lead ballast keel. Fibreglass over a ply sub deck. Varnished teak coach-roof and cockpit coamings. Self draining cockpit with bridge deck.
Owner is also currently building a yard trolley for her.

Broker's Comments

These boat details are subject to contract.
This Buchanan is an exceptionally lovely wooden sailing boat. Lovely lines, excellent sea-keeping qualities. She use to be varnished on the outside, however the owner is not physically up to maintaining all the varnish work so has recently been painted. This vessel has been really well maintained over the years but she needs a new owner now. She has a good deep cockpit, and is very warm and comfortable below decks too - A very special vessel -The video will soon be uploaded.
