Broker's Comments
The Carver 36 Aft Cabin (3607) was one of the most popular and successful yachts of her time. At the time of her inception she was the largest yacht Carver had ever made. One of her best features was her fantastic “dual mode” trawler-style hull, meaning that she could run efficiently and very economically at slow 7–8 knot displacement speeds and still plane out at full throttle. The interior accommodations of the 3607 are amazingly roomy for a 36-footer; especially compared to late model 36' yachts. This particular 3607 has the more rare and coveted Plan B layout. It features a raised lounge offering seating for five and the larger galley with larger fridge and bar. She comfortably sleeps six. She also features a lower helm station and my favorite, a real tub/shower in the aft head! Outside, the aft deck is large enough for a few folding chairs, and the bridge is only three steps up with guest seating for four. The sidedecks are wide enough for easy bow access. Her 350-hp Crusaders will cruise her to around 16 knots and reach a top speed of approximately 26 knots. This particular 3607 is in fantastic shape as she was cared for and maintained lovingly. Here is your opportunity to own arguably the most perfect family boat. One with quite a proven track record and phenomenal degree of accomodation. Last but not least, you absolutely will NOT find a better value in a 3607 anywhere else! This is the best priced 3607 on the market. Yet, she is in better condition than most of the others. Take your time and look for yourself. You'll see! These boat details are subject to contract. Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
