Here we have a little bit of recent Royal Naval history. Moulded by Industrial Plastics and fitted out by C. Toms & Sons, Fowey she was accepted into service in 1980 by CED Portsmouth where she was allocated to the Type 22 Frigate HMS Beaver, where she was embarked as ships boat and carried in davits on the warship's starboard side outboard of the funnel. Her present owner has her full service history! Having acquired her in 2001, he then carried out a major refit and installed her present engine. She is in excellent order and is a handsome and practical harbour launch, fishing boat and estuary cruiser.
