This is an all-GRP Chris-Craft that appears to be in generally good condition though needing a good hull and topside cleaning. The owner has not been using the boat for the past couple of years due to health issues and the bottom has a good crop of marine growth. The topsides are generally good but need cleaning, buffing and waxing. The canvas enclosure of the fly bridge is generally in good condition except for the rear panel which needs to be replaced. The upholstery on the enclosed portion of the fly bridge is quite good but the exposed seating on the rear deck suffers from some shrinkage and seam separation.

The cockpit area shows glue marks in the gelcoat where it was deck area and steps were previously covered with carpet.

The owner has been running the engines regularly and the mechanical systems appear to be in good condition.

The windows are original and appear to be in generally good shape. However, there was a small water leak noticed near the helm door which will have to be repaired.

This boat has a very nice interior layout. Over the years it has proven to be very popular with consumers. The galley is open, airy and well-lit.

One enters through a very thick, clear lexan door from the cockpit into the aft or master state room. That room is nicely finished with fabric wall coverings and carpet in good condition. There is a queen sized bed to port. To starboard is a large head compartment with full shower.

Passing foward up stairs into the main saloon there is a square dining table and L shaped seating area to starboard, the helm station is forward to starboard and the galley is down two steps forward to port. Further forward through a center stair and door is the forward cabin with two separate berths.

A stair on center in the rear bulkhead of the main saloon passes up through another thick lexan door to the upper deck and then forward to the fly bridge which is completely inclosed in canvas and clear panels.

This is a solid, all-GRP Chris-Craft with the usual nice Chris-Craft details. Down in the engine compartment the hull shows heavy roving hand layup which suggests quality construction. Generally this boat is in good condition though it has been laid up for the last couple years due to the owner's health. The owner has run the engine regularly and the boat seems to be in good mechanical condition. It needs a haul out and bottom cleaning as well as a good clean, buff and wax for the topsides. The upper deck exterior upholstery is showing some sun damage and the rear panel of the fly bridge canvas enclosure should be replaced.

The boat is equipped with a radar and a Loran-based plotter so a new owner would likely wish to add at least a new GPS plotter.

This boat has long been a favorite family cruiser with excellent indoor and outdoor accommodations. The twin fresh water cooled 454 engines allow it to go fast to get out of the weather and the on-board generator provides plenty of power. The boat has a nice stereo system and the salon seating converts into a double berth if needed. The addition of the microwave in the galley makes cooking easy. This boat is a great deal and with a little TLC and will make some family very happy for years to come.
