USHarbors.com, a popular online resource for tides, weather, and coastal data in the US, has announced that co-founder Jamie Bloomquist has acquired full ownership of the company.

With this acquisition, Bloomquist says he plans to expand the platform’s reach and services, aiming to further solidify its position as a ‘go-to digital destination for marine enthusiasts nationwide’.

USHarbors.com, which is based in Maine, was established in 2009 to provide comprehensive coastal information, including tide charts, weather forecasts, and local knowledge tailored to the needs of boaters and coastal residents. According to the platform, it has over 12 million users.

Jamie Bloomquist, who created USHarbors with Joshua Moore in 2009, is a marine industry professional who has previously worked as national sales manager for Back Cove Yachts. His vision for USHarbors.com includes enhancing user experience, expanding partnerships with coastal businesses and organisations, and introducing innovative features to serve the needs of boaters and coastal communities.

“I am thrilled to take on this new role and lead USHarbors.com into its next growth phase,” says Bloomquist. “We are dedicated to providing valuable tidal data, weather observations and forecasts, and coastal flooding information while fostering connections within coastal communities across the United States and helping our audience of boaters, coastal businesses, travellers and waterfront homeowners.

“I look forward to building upon the success of former owner, John Hanson, and continuing to work with USHarbors president Anastasia Fischer to serve our dedicated members.”

Bloomquist says that, under his leadership, USHarbors.com will continue to prioritise its mission of providing essential coastal information while exploring new opportunities for expansion and innovation in the marine industry.
