The Colvic Northerner began to be built in 1970 by Thames Marine with a round bilge hull which has a raked stem. The hull and decks are of GRP construction with full displacement underwater profile. The Colvic Northerner is a classic Colvic boat with production of the boat continuing for many years after it was first built.

The interior offers 4 berths with 2 double berths and 1 cabin. The main cabin has a dinette that converts to a double berth. Also the starboard side settee forward converts to another double. The cushions are of very good quality however some people may want more modern looking upholstery, The galley has all the needed equipment such as cooker, sink and fridge as well as the boat having a head, making it a practical and liveable boat for the user. She also has an ideal cockpit for fishing enthusiasts.

These Colvic boats are known for their working capabilities making them an ideal motor cruiser for fishing excursions or a couple as well as being value for money. The current owner had an accident about a year ago and realises that he can no longer pursue his interest in boating.
