Broker's Comments

I think that I may have just fallen in love!
She is the best used Contessa 33 we have ever seen in South Wales, and her asking price is right on the button. Her previous owners have really taken care of her as can be seen from the photographs, and her sail wardrobe is bang up to date and comprehensive, as befits a serious cruiser/racer. Not that she is a boys toy, like many stripped out so called cruiser racers. The Contessa was designed from the outset to be a comfortable boat in its cruising role whilst remaing at the front of the fleet as a racer. These aspirations were well founded, and indeed exceeded as she frequently came out top of a grand prix fleet racing Channel Handicap. In fact the Contessa was the test bed and yardstick for this rating system. Whilst fast and well equipped she is also well provided with comfortable accomodation and is easily handled by a novice or family crew. If you are seriously looking for a modern yacht that can fulfill both roles, look no further.
