Broker's Comments

Built in 1974 this fine example of a Contest 29 has seen some major upgrades recently. Brand new mainsail, furling jib , spinnaker and sprayhood and a very comprehensive set of nav equipment makes this boat ready to take you coastal cruising or further afield. It is clear that her present owner is an experienced sea-goer as there is plenty of safety equipment on board and a very thorough programme of maintenance is evident everywhere you look. She would benefit from a coat of paint on her decks to freshen her up but everything else is in great order. Although not very beamy for a 29 footer she is surprisingly roomy inside with some fantastic woodwork and an immense amount of storage. A real classic feel to her interior. A new galvanised cradle is also included in the asking price. These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: The nav package is worth minimum €4,500 and can be removed from the boat if not required by new owner ... and the asking price adjusted downwards.
