The creation of a masterpiece only happens once in a while but when it does happen - mm!
Roger Dongray's Shrimper, skillfully crafted by Cornish Crabbers Ltd, is just such a boat. A pretty, gaff rigged trailer sailer that echoes the lines of the working boats of these islands. They always just look right and they handle just right too. Easily launched from a custom built trailer/trolley combo, quickly rigged and with lifting keel Shrimpers are able to explore all the interesting bits of coastline whilst having the guts for serious coastal and cross channel passages.
Shrimpers have been in constant production for nearly thirty years and with only minor modifications they are still one of the most popular choices for a trad looking small yacht with a big personality. This one is in extremely good condition for her age and has a brand new motor. I'm very tempted myself!
