Designed as a low-cost Drascombe for single-handed sailing, the Scaffie has no centreplate, relying instead on water ballast and two deep bilge keels. Rig is a single standing lugsail. A very capable sea boat, in the right hands, she is easily trailed, rigged and sailed by one or two people but equally at home with a couple of adults and small children. She can be rowed, motored and sailed with the absolute minimum of time spent faffing about with rigging etc! This example is AS NEW having never actually been used, and is roughly half the cost of a new one today.
Transport to anywhere in the Uk easily arranged.
