The interior is of a well thought out design, as you would expect from a French boat. The forward accommodation comprises 2 single berths in V layout which can convert to a double. Aft of the forward cabin to port is the head with manual twist and lock WC and hanging wet locker. Opposite to starboard is the wash basin area. This combined area can be closed off from both the salon and forward bunk.

The light and spacious salon comprises a single berth to port and a berth to starboard which can be converted to a double. A large double drop leaf table is located centrally. Aft of the saloon to port is the navigation area with the very safe L shaped galley opposite to starboard. A further single pilot berth lies aft of the nav. area.

The internal furniture and flooring is in excellent condition for a boat of this age and there is still plenty of life in the upholstery throughout.

Broker's Comments

This Dufour 31 offered for sale is one of the best presented 30 year old boats that I have seen in recent years. She is clean and tidy with her internal furniture and flooring in excellent condition given her age. She is also very well equipped. Externally, she has a few minor scratches and abrasions in keeping with her age, however there is no evidence of any major repairs or damage. As with all older boats there will always be issues requiring attention, however much of the major refurbishment has already been done, with the rigging replaced in 2014 and a reconditioned engine installed in recent years. As a result this Dufour 31 is a great mid sized family cruiser with renowned sailing performance. This new, greatly reduced price, represents superb value and if you are looking to upgrade to a larger yacht, this one should be on your list.
