Broker's Comments

This is a great little coastal cruiser. She's a 1987 model which is still in good condition due to having been well maintained, regularly used and constantly updated.

Originally well finished and laid out, she has now been upgraded, with her current owner having undertaken an extensive refit in 2005. This included not only installing a flat screen TV/DVD but also new equipment such as standing rigging, a Navman 6600 Trackfish GPS and chart plotter and a Bombard inflatable dinghy. (It is worth noting that this dinghy's 4-stroke Yamaha has just 3 hours' running time!)

Some novel ideas were also incorporated during her 2005 refit, such as 2 solar panels for battery trickle charging and an ingenious aluminium boarding system with teak tread. Another unusual new feature is the lighting under the transom - for nocturnal stern-to berthing, swimming and squid fishing!

Along with the standard 2 double cabins, she now also has 2 customised small seats on the pushpits, practical leather upholstery in the saloon and teak seating in the cockpit.

She's a lovely, fast, comfortable family cruiser and is easy to handle: she has a furling headsail, a lazy jack and easy-stack mainsail handling system, her mainsail is slab-reefed and her electric QUICK windlass can be operated from the cockpit as well as the foredeck. Sailable by just 1 or the whole family.
