Mahogany on Oak construction with 12 coats of Bright Varnish. She originally would have had a lifting keel though this has recently been replaced with a fixed keel. A new rudder has been fitted, the bowsprit has been extended to eliminate the inherant helm problems in certain weather and she has her original lightweight hollow spars.

Broker's Comments

This is a very well kept Ernest Collins Half Decker. This craft has been winterised ashore for the the last 10 years. She is believed to be one of only three of these craft built which is why her Mahogany on Oak construction has recently seen some extensive restoration including planking and new ribs where required. This craft is said to sail very well, especially in light winds. She comes with a trailer allowing ease of storage over the winter period.
