This little fishing boat is based on the tried and tested Fairey Marines Christina cruiser. I’m sure the Fairey Owners Club members would have kittens if they saw her now, but never the less, it’s a very practical conversion that was completed 5 or 6 years ago with the engine being rebuilt 2 years later in Poole.

This boat is being offered with the option of not purchasing the Commercial fishing Licence (Please contact us if you are interested only in the boat). The license covers area 7 (Dover to Bristol Channel) and is CAT “A” licence (my understanding is that you can land anything that isn’t classed as “under risk” or in a shell!) The current owner has been operating this boat for the past 2 years turning over approximately £65k in that time. Bigger (Dive) boat forces sale.

In a nut shell, you could come down to Weymouth by train and start fishing on your way home. You would also have 22 fish boxes already named to land the fish in!

The boat has two live bait tanks with a pump connected via belts to the Ford Sabre engine. The pump has two operating modes, intermittent or full time with the control located at the helm. The pump can also be used to wash the deck, hence the two large bilge pumps!

This boat may be small in size, however, it will offer it’s new owners huge potential in either commercial fishing or diving. So book your train ticket to sunny Weymouth and have a look at the start of your new career as a commercial fisherman/woman!
