Broker's Comments

I really like the Falcon 27. I have sold a couple of these over the years, and there are quite a few of these boats at large on my patch in and around the Solent. They wear their years well, and this particular boat has just been re-fitted and refurbished to a high standard. Have a look at the photos of the engine bay!

The engines have been out and stripped down. They have been fully serviced and the belts, filters and anodes changed. The port engine has a new manifold and new fuel pump. The intelligent battery charger is new. The drive legs have been of and serviced, and the bellows changed.

Down below, the woodwork has an “easy-on-the-eye” quality that cheers you up just being near to it. It is light but beautifully finished. The galley is compact and well laid out, and the heads are pretty spacious for a boat of this size. I like the aft cabin layout, especially the big opening port-light aft, which makes the cabin feel light and airy. I suspect it is a pleasant place to kip down.

You need to come and see this boat to appreciate how well the present owner has looked after her – she is clean and tidy, she is dry, she is mechanically up together, she is ready to launch and go!

It is not often nowadays one can shout about the best of British craftsmanship, but it is a real pleasure to be able to let rip on this occasion!
