It is often said "the smaller the boat, the bigger the fun" and I subscribe personally to this mantra - however, I have not tried a Winkle Brig - yet! But I bet she's a whole lot of fun; a real 'Swallows and Amazons' pocket cruiser, ideal for day sailing or overnighting for two (and perhaps a couple of small kids) on lakes, rivers or coastal trips. A sturdy little craft of exceptional build quality she has very spacious and traditional comforts in her homely cabin. She can be trailed behind the family saloon to differant cruising grounds and will sit happily on a drying berth. Below she is like new and her owner has lavished tlc and money on her - sails, canvas, motor, mast - all replaced as rqd.
Just head off up some deserted creek where the sandpipers call, light the oil lamp and dig out Riddle of the Sands - go on, you know you want to!
