Broker's Comments

This is a lovely boat and would make a really great budget cruiser racer. The current owner, has spent lots on her from 2004 onwards, including a complete new rig and a specially designed galvanised road trailer.

Compared with the Nordic Folkboats, the Marieholm Folkboats have a few inches extra freeboard and a slightly increased cabin line. Both of these provide much more usable interior space, without the loss of sailing performance.

The hull is painted but needs a bit of touching up here and there where the tender has rubbed along side.

All in all a really super yacht, well cared for and little used over the last few years.

Anyone buying this yacht will need to provide and outboard motor which can be mounted on the transom bracket or in a well within the security of the lazzerette.

There is a large under cockpit locker accessed from the saloon. Here a small inboard diesel engine could be fitted, along with a fuel tanks, exhaust system etc. This would be a very worthwhile addition.
