Broker's Comments
Here's a project worth getting your teeth into.
This Gallion yacht has been stripped to enable the current owner to modify her to his exact specification for extended cruising but due to a change in circumstances, she is now offered to the market.
A 44' fin keel with two 85hp diesels is an uncommon mix but has proven herself time and time again, indeed cruising past many larger craft in heavy weather easily due to her ability to cut through heavy swells.
The decks have been refinished and the engine compartment fully revised when the engines were refitted along with the onboard diesel generator.
The new toe rails and timber work are of Burmese teak, stanchion fixings, pulpit, radar arch, fuel tanks and calorifer are all brand new along with the new stainless steel window frames.
A liveaboard, cruiser (even a motor cruiser?) or blue-water yacht, she can be remade however you want, what an opportunity!
