Entrance into a beautifully fitted kitchen, with cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and a dining table.

There is a beautifully furnished living room with a solid fuel stove and views across the stunning mooring to a lake.

The bedroom is also stunningly appointed and has an en-suite shower and composting toilet.

The real star of this mooring is the freehold, landscaped plot with multiple terraces, log cabin with veranda and stunning views across its own stream to a lake surrounded by trees. It truly is a private paradise designed for alfresco living. There is a dining terrace, a small lawn and a pond fed by a stream

The chalet is fitted as two bedrooms opening on to the veranda, one with en-suite bathroom. There is a further large room, presently an artists studio but would equally make a superb office or extra living room.

Heating and hot water are provided by gas boilers in both the boat and the chalet. There is also electric heating.

4 burner gas cooker

Safety Equipment

Broker's Comments

Where do you start with a little corner of paradise like this?

The lovingly presented houseboat? The secluded mooring? The gorgeous, freehold terrace and garden with pond and lake view? The Chalet style residence with two bedrooms and a studio? This place has it all.

The pictures and video will tell you more than my words possible can, You get all the above. A total of 3 Bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen diner and an artists studio which could easily become a living room, an office or a further bedroom.

The mooring is CRT and is transferable with the boat. The land and buildings are freehold.

(Please note: Because of covenants on the land, no permanent buildings can be built as planning permission cannot be obtained)

The mooring car park is a 5 minute walk. Vehicles can get somewhat nearer for unloading only.

Fuel, gas, coal, groceries and post are all delivered to the door. There is also room to moor a small tender to provide transport to the car park, across the canal to the towpath and roads or to a Tesco store - less than ten minutes by boat.

So if you are in the market for a change of lifestyle, with loads of accommodation and the potential for holiday rental this could be it.
