This Hunter Horizon 23 is compact family cruiser, with a very good sailing ability, and particularly easy handling. She has a fractional rig with self-tacking jib. Both twin keel and fin keel versions were built - Hunters calliing the twin keel versions 'twin fin' rather than 'bilge keel' to emphasise their performance.Tthe Hunter Horizon 23 (later renamed the Hunter Horizon 232 - (no real difference to the former), was a development of the Hunter Duette, itself a design influenced by the highly esteemed Sonata 'quarter tonner' club racer from 1975. A great boat to handle and a superb performer. Over 200 were built from 1989 to 1998, most being twin keeled. This one has been Owned by the current owner for the last 8 years, hull number 121.She looks to be a very clean and fine example and has been wintered ashore. , This yacht is ready for her next owner now.

A generous aft-cabin and two single berths mean that a small family will be able to get a lot of fun and also relax in comfort after a day sailing. Her galley has a gas cooker with 2 burners and grill, water supply to the sink from a 10 gallon water tank. Separate heads compartment has a marine toilet. Grey upholstery with curtains and a wooden floor. She has a possible 6 berths including 2 V berths in the forepeak, 2 single settee berths in the saloon (each 7 feet long) and a double berth in her separate aft quarter cabin (6' 8" by 4' 6" - at the wider end).

This Hunter Horizon 23 Sailing boat is a great boat for the sailing enthusiast who wants a modern looking vessel, that is easy to handle and is comfortable enough for going on holidays. She is so well designed and looks really beautiful and tidy. Excellent nav gear and a good sails wardrobe.. Amazing interior design, great for shoal waters and economical to maintain and moor. The engine was replaced in 2009 and the owner (of for 8 Years) has wintered her ashore. This boat is a credit to her current owner and ready for her next one.
