Broker's Comments

Hurleys have a reputation as tough, well-mannered and thoroughly seaworthy little boats. There is a safe, deep cockpit, with high coamings and roomy lockers. Access to the engine is good, both from the front with the companionway stairs removed, and through a dedicated hatch in the cockpit sole. No-one would disagree that this one needs a little work. The exterior woodwork needs varnishing, for example, and the main bulkhead requires some renovation. The instrumentation might best be described as a blank canvas, but at least you can fit the latest and the best; or whatever suits your inclination or pocket. The asking price reflects the vessel's condition, though, and her fundamental virtues are built in through design.
