Broker's Comments

Preliminary details awaiting confirmation by owner.
The Husky 24 made all the headlines when it was released; boasted as a robust, beamy, shallow draft masthead sloop. Designed as a 50-50, half powerboat and half sail, which is remarkably responsive even in light airs. Designed to take the bottom having a long centre keel and two tough bilge keels moulded integrally to the hull. With a large aft cockpit and either wheel or tiller to steer from. She needs some tlc but is a good sound boat. The engine is reliable and recorded to push her along at 6 knots for some 200 miles before her 25 gallon fuel tank needs refilling. She feels solid and safe and with a bit of attention she will give even a novice or family plenty of good times on the water. The mooring is paid up until March 2010 and it may be transferable.
