Broker's Comments

My first introduction to the Jaguar 25 was on a Greek flotilla holiday. One very successful company had a huge fleet of them, and they must have been doing the business for them, because they were immensely popular with clients, who just kept on coming back for more. It says a lot about the Jag’s build that it could stand up to the charter battering year after year, yet they remained highly regarded by the charterers, even when more modern boats became more widely available. They liked them for their predictable sailing qualities and for their sensible and flexible accommodation. This is a nice example, powered by an 8HP outboard motor, fuelled from a remote tank and spare. Accommodation is generous, for a boat of this size, with lots of seating doubling as berths. It’s a proper sea-boat, too, with a solid masthead rig, well-sorted running rigging, and lee-cloths down below. This is a solid and practical little cruiser, with plenty of space in the cockpit and below decks. She’s been looked after and, apart from a little varnish on the wood work, well-presented and ready to go.
