Broker's Comments

We are lucky here in Norfolk to have some fine examples of sailing history around us and this Japonica is no exception. This particular craft was originally built by the Martham Boat & Development company renowned for the wooden craft they have turned out over the years. The 'Japonica' was originally part of the largest traditional hire fleet here on the Broads, and since her retirement she has been lovingly cared for, her current owner has just had a survey on her and has recently replaced her Boom, Quant pole and Mast. The nearly new Jeckels sails, replaced 04, look in very good order and she comes with a cockpit cover and all over cover to keep her from the elements and carry on preserving this piece of Norfolk Broads heritage.
