Broker's Comments

Modern looking for a 1979 boat, this Leisure 27 for sale with Boatshed Port Solent would make an ideal first boat for a family wanting to cruise coastal waters. She is a bilge keeled version, so is ideal for “taking the ground” and sneaking into places where her fin keeled cousins cannot venture.

Mooring becomes a much less expensive exercise if you can dry out between tides, so in these straitened times she has to be worth considering.

Down below her high freeboard makes for great headroom, loads of space and plenty of stowage.

The Leisure Owner’s Association Website says “A large number of Leisure 27's were built and proved to be remarkably sturdy sea going boats. The hull is built in solid GRP with foam ribs and stringers for exceptional strength and minimum maintenance. The deck is in balsa sandwich for maximum insulation properties.”

Her Volvo MD7A looks as though it was installed yesterday, have a look at the photos and then get along to have a see for yourself! Just ring me here at Boatshed Port Solent on 07885 521960 and we’ll arrange to meet. She is moored in a private club so it’s best if you give me a bit of notice so we can arrange access.
