Broker's Comments

I like Macwesters, there is something about them that makes them pleasant to be aboard. This Macwester 27 is for sale at Boatshed Port Solent. Maybe it’s because they are all now “of a certain age,” they give off an air of casual competence, reliability, understated Britishness. I’m sure if Macwesters were people they’d all be wearing clean carpenter’s aprons and have an HB pencil behind one ear!

This boat has been in the same ownership since 1983, she has a solid windscreen and various other improvements – extra locker space, flexible galley layout, a cockpit tent with removable, zipped side panels; loads of stuff really. The owner is retiring from the sea so all the gear he has acquired over the years is going with the boat, including two dinghies and quite a few tools.

I think you’d better ring me here at Boatshed Port Solent, and we’ll get along and have a look.
