Boarding astern is from a large swim platform up steps and over the transom through an opening handrail. The cockpit provides shallow but protected working space for line handling or fishing. Proper and secure steps lead up to the flybridge, and port and starboard sidedecks with protective bulwarks lead forward.

The sturdily-built sliding cabin doors provide entry to the saloon and helm station. The helm station is to starboard and features a sliding helm seat with a moveable bolster for leaning if desired. There is a raised L-shaped dinette to port which also serves as excellent companion seating with good forward visibility while underway. A comfy sofa is to starboard behind the helm. The galley is forward and down, and features granite countertops, a large Norcold over/under refrigerator/freezer, Force 10 propane stove, and a Sharp convection microwave oven.

Forward of the galley is the guest suite with queen berth, head/shower compartment, two hanging lockers and storage drawers and shelves.

Footwells with high bulwarks provide security when exiting the saloon. Sturdy, well-built handrails provide good security all around.

The master cabin aft has a queen berth, hanging locker on starboard, storage drawers and cabinets and separate head and shower compartments.

The flybridge has a two pedestal helm seats and an L-shaped settee. A full canvas and isinglass enclosure surrounds the flybridge.

Cabin heating and cooling is provided by two Webasto 16,000 BTU reverse-cycle units. And for fresh air this boat has six opening windows (including an opening windshield window), six opening stainless steel portlights, and two opening escape hatches.

Broker's Comments

This Mariner #8 Seville Double Cabin is well-equipped and has low hours. She appears in excellent condition inside and out and is ready to go.

This hard-to-find double cabin model is built with the same outstanding craftsmanship and attention to detail that distinguishes other Mariner Seville models, and their Helmsman Trawlers successors.

With two comfortable suites this is a great boat for cruising with family and friends.

The quality of materials and construction are evident with teak and holly floors, beautiful teak joinery, heavy deck fittings and handrails, sturdy deck sections, and thick engine compartment sound insulation.

Its 425 hp electronically-controlled Cummins QSB 5.9 engine turns down nicely, and operates smoothly and quietly. She performs frugally at 7 or 8 knots, and has the power to get up and go when needed. Other features include 6 kw generator, reverse-cycle heat/air, RIB dinghy with Sea Wise davit system, full flybridge enclosure, satellite TV and a full complement of navigational electronics.
