Broker's Comments

The more mature among us will remember the MG Spring’s fame as the yacht of choice on the “Howard’s Way”, a TV drama of yachting folk on the Hamble, but the type easily stands on its own reputation as a fast cruiser, still successfully raced by many. She offers good accommodation for her length, and has lots of clever touches such as the open plan seating around the table. At night the forward back rest hinges up to extend the length of the V-berth to adult dimensions. There is a good-sized aft cabin and separate heads aft on either side of the companionway. Engine access is superb, with all the regular check items, including stern greaser and the cooling water strainer, positioned ready to hand. She looks a bit scruffy at the moment, and needs some work to bring her up to speed, but the price reflects this.
