Despite approaching her thirtieth birthday this Moody 27 still gives the feeling and appearance of a thoroughly modern yacht. OK, there are one or two minor blemishes, but nothing that should put off a prospective owner who is looking for a comfortable reasonably fast cruiser for some serious coastal and cross channel work. The basic design has stood the test of time and arguably has not been bettered. Her rigging is recent enough and her motor looks clean and well maintained. She is in commission and ready to sail at a moment's notice.
