Broker's Comments

Many is the fine cruise I’ve enjoyed on one of these excellent yachts. The Moody 31 is surely a classic by now. In her time she set the standard for what could be achieved in a mainstream production yacht. The design has stood the test of time. She has two spacious cabins fore and aft, a good-sized saloon with clean and firm upholstery (clearly not the original) and plenty of wood in evidence. The heads are located by the companionway in what was then the innovative modern style. Unlike some Moody 31s, the nav station faces forward. Outside, the vessel’s sleek lines are of pleasing proportions. The deck is original, but looks in astoundingly good condition. The spray hood and dodgers look crisp and of good quality. There is a full cockpit canopy, not shown in the photos. She has not long been converted to in-mast reefing, so the mainsail is very recent. She is tidy, apparently in sound condition, and has been well maintained by a conscientious owner. A super yacht for not a great deal of money.
