My first trip to Portimao for a long time and it has changed beyond all recognition for me. This still beautiful setting is enhanced by the view of this classic Moody sailing vessel. I was welcomed on aboard by the resident crew, being instantly confronted with the best cup of English tea that I have had in months !! The charming owners are keen now to move ashore, having spent many years on board including the Atlantic crossing twice in the last ten years. The vessel was subject to a major overhaul in 1999 and has been enhanced very cleverly in many places, one example an internal tank carefully disguised as a dressing mirror. The interior is very homely with new fabrics and very sensibly in this part of the world Mosi nets all round, whilst electric fans create a cool breeze. The saloon includes such adoring features as ships wheel table and stove heater. The masters cabin is extremely comfortable stretching fully across her beamy stern. The hull was maintained and then provided with a coat of Gelshield in 2003, this yacht is fully prepared for cruising with to many items even for us to fully list.
Note: Close offers on the asking price may be considered.
