This Moody 54 was built end of 2003, but commissioned in 2006, hence the age of the sails etc. Engineered for stiffness and strength, and fully capable of navigation the world’s oceans, this imposing centre cockpit yacht is for people who wish to enjoy serious blue water cruising, or just local cruising due to ease of handling. Sturdy, immensely strong, yet light enough to maintain optimum performance across the full range of ocean cruising conditions, the Moody 54 had been designed without
compromise. The balance and power of the underwater sections and lead keel ensure superb sail carrying ability and stability for swift passage times.
The shoal keel has the same centre of gravity as the deep fin because an additional 500Kg is added via the bulb.

Broker's Comments

These boat details are subject to contract.
A super blue water cruiser that is engineered for excellent performance, sheer comfort, easy handling and pure practicality too! This is an amazing vessel and will appeal to the most discerning yachtsman. She is exceptionally well equipped and the attention to detail regarding the electrics ensures that your creature comforts are all catered for.
She was built in 2003 but commissioned in 2006 so she has been lightly used. When I took the photographs it was a very dull rainy day but I was impressed at how light and airy she still felt below. Many sailors will dream about owning such a gorgeous vessel - hopefully you are in a position to make your dreams come true.
