Broker's Comments

This Moody Halberdier 36 was one of the last to be finished by Moodys. Designed as a true motor-sailer by Alan Hill they have travelled far and wide since and are a fine choice for long distance cruising or tackling the more inclement weathers around Northern Europe.

This particular Halberdier is perhaps a little dated and a new owner may wish to update some of the electronics and equipment but the original build quality shines through and she seems perfectly serviceable as she is.

The separate aft cabin and heads makes this a great boat for when family and friends come to visit and the saloon and galley are plenty big enough to cope with everyone. The Wheelhouse also provides extra living space in port and keeps the aft cabin within the accommodation, avoiding that awful dash across the cockpit last thing on boats with open cockpits.

The deck is well laid out and spacious with a good deep bulwark all round for extra safety. She has the feel of really safe solid vessel, the Moody pedigree and the advantage of a motor-sailer designed to sail.
