Broker's Comments

Preliminary details: waiting confirmation by owner.

The Cox 22 was once front page news in Boat magazine featured in the Novemeber 1977 edition and I can see why.

"This is an altogether more leisurely craft with modest power and modest sail area each enough to get us where we are going. This design of boat takes advantage of the shallower draft, ample beam, more headroom and a manageable sail plan.

Stepping down into the main cabin through a stable door it has good space and all-round visibility giving a feel of a light and airy interior.

Sailing in a force 5 she can make a good 6 knots and four people can easily sit comfortably in the cockpit with a nice vision from the helm. She can be handled with precision and confidence and with a healthy margin of dryness, comfort and safety."

This vessel is solid and reliable and with a little TLC would be an ideal family weekender or coastal cruiser.
