I remember reading an article on a Mystere Flyer 26, detailing how the owner had been impressed by the lines and the fact that she had wheel steering, and then after a few minor improvements set off around the world in her...as you do! The impressive bit, however was not that he set off but that he came back unscathed, albeit with a few exciting stories to tell down at the local Yacht club, thus proving the seaworthyness of this design. This example has benefitted from a variety of recent upgrades and comes complete with recent engine, mainsail and genoa, and is presently in commission with a marina berth paid up until June 2009.
