Broker's Comments

This Newhaven Sea Warrior was built in 1984 and professionally fitted out by Johnson and Jago Ltd at Leigh on Sea, Essex. Newhaven Sea Warriors were first built in Newhaven and were designed by Alan Hill who went on to design the famous Mitchell range of sea angling boats.
She has been well maintained by her current owner who purchased her in 2010 and has excellent records of past service, receipts and manuals.

The forward cabin has a slightly different layout than expected as this was modified by a previous owner. A single berth was removed and a galley added. There are several storage hatches-always handy, a single starboard berth with tube heater and separate head compartment to port.

The wheelhouse is nice and light and has the helmsman's seat to port. The current owner had a crew's bench seat made with some good storage beneath, a chart table to starboard and extra railing to grab onto in rough seas !Heating in the wheelhouse is provided by an eberspacher hot air system.

The cockpit is a large open area, there are many rod holders and again plenty of storage space including a weed box. Some of the deck paint needs retouching in areas, which, is expected for a boat of her age.

The hull is a semi-displacement type with integral and long keel and skeg supported rudder.

She was last lifted out and anti fouled in May 2016.

New muffler and starter motor June/July.

New capstan 2013.

Engine service may 2015.
