The 42 was one of Ocean Alexander's most popular sedan models. It has classic lines and a great layout - 1993 was the last production year of this model, so this boat is the newest example of that production run.

It features a large cockpit with teak flooring - a popular feature of this layout. The side decks are easy to walk around - some hull flair adds width without sacrificing saloon space. There is a recessed area for a large sun pad on the foredeck.

From the cockpit a ladder accesses the flybridge. The flybridge has two captain's pedestal seats and a large L-shaped bench. Each seat has a canvas cover, and a flybridge enclosure is also included.

Broker's Comments

This is a fine example of a 42 Ocean Alexander Sedan. The evident pride of ownership throughout its life is reflected in the boat's superb condition. Its classic lines and practical layout explain the appeal of this particular model.

The twin 375 HP Catepillar 3208's appear to be in good condition and with only 1600 hours they can be expected to serve reliably for many years. With twin engines and a bow thruster this is an easy boat for even a novice couple to own and operate. The accommodations are well-thought-out -- two comfy staterooms, large galley, saloon with plenty of seating and head with separate shower stall.

If you are looking for a high-quality, worry-free boat don't pass this one up!
