This Miller Whitworth is a very strong off-shore sailing yacht. Her outward appearance shows off her potential pedigree as a powerful racing boat but below decks she has been fitted out to make cruising comfortable.
The boat has a powerful rig with wide open decks and lots of space. The present owner has been able to cruise the boat short handed and undoubtedly she is a good 'passage maker'. This is the kind of yacht that would make a great off-shore club racer and in the right hands she would get to the front of the fleet and be one of the first into the clubhouse.
Inside, she has a comfortable and spacious saloon area with forward cabin. There is a navigation station and galley area. The boat also benefits from its two heads.
At present she will need some tidying, cleaning and general maintenance to bring her back upto a good condition. Much of the work is cosmetic and can be completed with the boat in the water and being used.
This is thus a boat with great potential and in summary its a lot of boat for the money.
