This is a fine little wooden ship that will appeal to the traditionalist. Built in 1959, she is of double-diamond ply construction, with solid wooden superstructure, and has a completely different feel to the modern glass-fibre motor cruiser. Every inch the gentleman’s (and gentle-lady’s) cruising launch, she has been in current ownership for the last three years or so, in which time she has been completely re-wired, her engines and gearboxes overhauled, shore-power installed and fuel tanks replaced. Keen types may want to fit the latest electronics; others will be happy with the basics provided. Her style doesn’t happen along every day. She won’t suit everyone, but she will be exactly what some discerning souls are looking for.
