Winchboats , equipped with a platform, emerged in the late 1980's as a solution to the problems associated with conventional parasail operations often beach based. These operations were relying on wind conditions to perform the flight effectively.
Of course, all beach based departures occupying valuable space consequently became a drawback.
Therefore, these platforms equipped boat became the only solution as they were able to operate in a much broader spectrum of conditions than the traditional methods. Thus, disadvantages with regards to the space and wind conditions were no longer a problem to take into consideration

This is a great opportunity for a fun in the sun commercial venture.
The owner who is a very colourful character well known in the Algarve, who is now moving to California to be with his family.
Having run a successful water sports business for many years he has decided to hang up his parachute and say a sad farewell to his much loved boat. These specialist boats built by the best known name in powered parachutes and parasailing boats, are expensive to buy from new, built with commercial use in mind they represent solid workmanship and reliability. The power plant is an eight cylinder 260HP OMC Cobra which should be able to catapault an F14 Tomahawk aloft from the ample flight deck let alone a bikini clad tourist.
