Broker's Comments

Live aboard barge for sale by Boatshed Midi Canals. We are pleased to offer this original Canal du Midi Barge for sale. An original peniche du Midi transformed into a floating home and professional workshop by the present owner who now wishes to retire to land. Original boatman's cabin aft and deckhand accommodation in the forepeak and a very original concept for the conversion of the hold with a large saloon cum kitchen diner and patio doors to an indoor terrace opening onto the workshop. Glazed raised deck sides and polycarbonate hold covers make this a very bright conversion. The pool with observation windows is forward of the workshop. This could make a very comfortable and unique live aboard barge you can finish off to your own tastes.
