Broker's Comments

The original "Peter Duck" was commissioned for Arthur Ransome and built at Pin Mill on the Orwell. The boat is named after the principal character in the book of the same name. Designed by Laurent Giles it proved to be an excellent design both a seakindly and comfortable cruising yacht. As a result of this Porter & Haylett went on to build 38 near replicas, there were a few modifications to provide more headroom and more berths without affecting the positive features of the original.
The Peter Duck we have for sale is one of the P&H built boats she had been extensively refurbished over recent years to a very good standard and she looks in great condition, in commission and ready for the new season.
