If you’re looking for a sports-cruiser to keep a couple of couples or a medium-sized family happy, this Regal may fit the bill. Extremely well equipped, she strikes a good balance between sporty performance and comfortable live-ability. Engine access for those all-important daily checks is first class. More domestically, there are clever storage areas everywhere, but not at the expense of lounging arrangements: the seating is plentiful and luxurious, both in the saloon and the cockpit. There are lots of clever touches, such as the folding seating in the cockpit and dedicated gash locker (a vital feature conveniently ignored by many manufacturers). I particularly liked the huge mesh-lined zip-out section of the rear canopy that lets fresh air in but keeps the mozzies out. Naturally, there is also the essential pair of fridges, one for drinkies and the other for, err, more drinkies.
